They do work. however, you need to enable the Model Shader in View > Rendering > Custom Shader Settings

Edit: Sorry, thought this was A320 topic!
The A330 logo light is INOP.

We've been making a lot of important announcements lately, but I now have to make one more
IMPORTANT

I've add now new SRS engagement logic. SRS is only available if a V2 speed is entered into the MCDU. The CLB armed mode is also not available unless a V2 speed is entered. RWY is only available if an outgoing localizer is found (not simulated yet).

If you turn on the AP without SRS or RWY, the associated axis will go into it's reversion mode: HDG or TRACK for roll, V/S or FPA for pitch.

NAV mode will still arm and activate normally :)

Any questions?

Kind Regards,
Josh

Hi all,

We have finished the tests concerning texture upscaling.

We have decided that the paintkit, and resulting livery will be 8192x4096 in Jpeg format. Here is a nice example of how detailed this is:

Image

This means that we will now get all the paintkits ready for this. BUT, I need someone (or more), to make new decals for all paintkits, and if possible also help with improving the wing textures. Please contact me if you are able to help with this (in this case it really is about applying a new texture to it and creating new decals, so any good livery artist should be able to do this). Once we have all the paintkits ready, they will go public on GIT, and all old liveries will be removed. I will announce once this happens, including the new livery rules that we will handle.

In reply to @omega13a from IDG-MD-11X dev:

PNG: compression level 9, about 3.93 mb in the test (8192x4096)
JPEG: quality 100, about 2.66 mb in the test (8192x4096)

On another note, would you be able to create new decals and a wing texture for the IDG-A33X planes? If yes, please contact me.

As soon as the new decals and wing texture have been created, new livery work can start, I will announce this, including the rules that all new liveries must oblige to.

Hey everyone!
Back when I had my bad degree based flybywire, I stiffened the flight controls to get it working properly. However, when I moved to my new flybywire system, this was not necessary, but I never corrected it.

I'm proud to announce I made a new feel for the ailerons, elevator, and rudder! The plane is much smoother to rotate, and in direct law, flies much more like a proper airplane with inertia, etc. I also readjusted the flybywire, so let me know if you see any odd flight control behavior. Slight "shaking" while inputs are being made, at certain speeds, is normal. If anything strange or stupid happens, please file an issue report on GitHub following our issue template.

I also corrected the behavior of the inner aileron in normal law.

Kind Regards,
Josh

I added proper turbulence damping functions based off teh Ny and Nz accelerometers, like the real aircraft uses.

I fixed alot of shit today :)

in the IDG-A32X thread, it0uchpods wrote:1) The CRS bar in LS or VOR modes of the ND will now line up with the heading correctly.
2) The missing white VOR arrows now appear, in all nav display modes except PLAN
3) Heading preselect is no longer buggy, and will work, even in NAV mode.
4) Heading now is available to pre-select on the ground

5) Sidestick position now appears only when bogey is full on the ground.

Kind Regards,
Josh
