I'm looking to confirm the weight I have for the prop on the P47..
Does anyone have any weight data on a WWII prop and the engine HP it's matched too.. even if it's not 2000hp, just something I can do another extrapolation from.

I haven't found anything there.... I have two different approximation calcs that give me 4 blade prop capable of handling 2000hp at 200kg...
The inertia value gives a long run on once the engine is turned off compared to video evidence.

I just asked online and the unmounted blades weigh about 100 pounds each for the Curtiss 4 blade. I'm thinking a good portion of that weight is at the base.
