You're welcome! I'd really like to contribute in a greater extent but I don't have the appropriate knowledge to do so. You know, programming, designing and stuff like this..
Anyways, some additional notes on your answers:
1) Setting performance based on default weights and weather conditions and rottating always at 155-160 knots is not quite realistic.. I'm sure you have the same stand on this issue! So, it would be nice if anyone could provide us with a good performance tool. I can tell you that there's TOPCAT, a quite realistic and reliable software which calculates the performance of various aircrafts, including MD-11! It's payware, though.. So, any freeware alternatives to TOPCAT??
2) I didn't know that MD-11 doesn't have speed references. So, there's no really need to add them! You know, in order to be as close as possible to reality.
3) As for the elevator:
a) You didn't mentioned which is the appropriate setting for the elevator for take off. For example, for A320 is 0.9 degrees. What about MD-11? Also, there is no indicator for this. In A320 you can see to what degrees pitch trim is set on FCTRL display. How can I determine it on MD-11?
b) After some trials, I've realized this: when you press 1 or 7 on the keyboard, elevator works perfectly. But when you use your mouse to pull the elevator lever in the cockpit (the lever between parking brakes and speed brakes), it doesn't work. It centers automatically. Give it a look whenever you find some time.
