...but the thing is this:
Most planes that are able to show significant flexing comes in YASim, which cannot do it properly...
Look for "B-BIRD" "N127KY" or "AVA0004" -that's me.

Despite having over 1700 posts here, I am not even close to being the most skilled guy here... I'm just words and bad drawing, not experience. :P

Simply take a look at the CVS 747-400 ;)
The 787 already had this for quite a while btw...$

Well, you create a pretty similar effect as JSBSim using the accelerations/pilot-g[0] property. I agree with you that this is not the most proper way, but atleast it looks better than nothing...

Adding wing flex to more planes might "force" someone to come up with a better YASim solution ;)

Has anyone else notices that the left wing fuel tank burns fuel twice as fast as the right?

Jonbourg unfortunately has no time for FlightGear, due to good reasons. Hopefully he will be back soon. I asked about this plane well before work commenced on the 767, because I was looking for something to work on. I decided the 767 over it however. I am sure somebody else is free to work on this thing. I know isix did an improved version of it, which can be downloaded from his hangar. Perhaps if nobody else does, I can work on this in the distant future- but not for quite some time.

Last evolution of this project....

viewtopic.php?f=4&t=9944

DOWNLOAD : http://www.mediafire.com/?9lru0al9pnht97b

Added lights, FDM JSBSim with refenreces, removed YASim FDM (there are a problematic new YASIMfdm...), livery paintkit, generic panel 3d, camera settings and menupanel.

My work goes until here... Now, Skyop will develop the great 757 ;) Good luck!! :D

The 757-200 in FGADDON is pretty good already. It was done here, so have a look.

Yes the existing 757 is very good: it could do with a few upgrades such as porting the new CDU code over, but in general it's a nice and performant model. The primary flight display is the most basic one, I think there might a Canvas version (from the 767?) available, which would also be common with the late 'Classic' 737-500 and -400 series: Boeing did many iterations of the display before they standardised; there's some with no tapes (our current version), some with speed or altitude tapes, some with *both*, and some with basically the same information as the full PFD from the 777 / 747-400 / 737-NGs.

No, the 757 (and 767) both had either a round ADI with a fast/slow indicator or a non-round ADI with a speed tape. That's all. In FG there is no canvas one.

At least my copy of the 737 technical manual (the Chris Brady one) shows about four or five variants of the ADI in the 737 Classics, and that they were customer selectable options. With variations on fast/slow pointers, one or both tapes, some with a VS needle, etc, etc. And the way it's worded implies these options were also available for the 757 and 767, but it's not explicitly stated. Certainly I'd guess we could make a single 'old Boeing ADI' using Canvas in Instruments-3d, and support pretty much all the combinations with codebase.

http://www.b737.org.uk/flightinsts.htm#Classic_Flight_Instruments has some pictures: there's ones with and without the rolling number display, for example.
