I don't have enough data (or knowledge) to use DATCOM which is too bad cause from what I can tell planes that have used DATCOM fly the most realistically.
On the other hand, I think YASIM is quite a nice solution for a flight sim as you give it some data and it does all the work for you and still gives nice results. I haven't done a YASIM FDM yet, but i'm working on it. Right now I'm working on the ATR42.
I think there is also a coefficient in JSBSim that will cause you to have too much lift, but I cant remember what it is.

nice little touches of realism that are amazing! Those were hosted on another website so don't get mad at me for posting to many! to see all of those screenies go to http://www.captainsim.com/products/x757/

http://wiki.flightgear.org/index.php/Ho ... t_pushback
"Currently, pushback can be used on JSBSim planes and YASim aswell, but the method differs a bit depending of type of fdm."
http://wiki.flightgear.org/index.php/Ho ... _wing_flex
"YASim does not calculate wingflex as nice as JSBSim, but a pretty realistic effect can be reached by using the accelerations/pilot-g[0] property instead. "
