Bug fixes and improvements on the electrical system and engine management.

- The generator no longer can produce power with the engine off
- The engine will not shutdown when the power is off (Magnetos keep working)
- The engine can be shutted down by setting the magnetos key to off or by cutting the mixture.

Must try this soon... alas, I never seem to find much time for flying, but when I do, I like helicopters very much and this one is shaping up great.

Great updates paju!
Just let me know when you have a version that can be pushed to FGAddon, or should I just regularly push the latest changes?

Thaks you D-ECHO.

I don't think is a good idea to update fgaddon regularly with the latest changes, because that is the place where people download the aircrafts from the gui and it will be better to offer them a more stable version without bugs. I often break things on the dev repo and I don't realize it till some time later. For example i broke the opening of the doors a few commits ago because of renaming the windows for the reflections effects and i didn't realize it for a while.
I think better wait for a version i feel more "stable".

Regards!

Added all the warning lights on the pedestal and the labels. Only ALT light is functional at the moment.

Does the QT launcher download from trunk of FGaddon? Is there a way for you to set one as say branch master like you would and github and have another branch for development so those of us who download trunk can still try it? I may sound completely stupid because I don't really know how it works. I've only used github. :)

the launcher downloads craft archives that have been placed in the "hanger"... generally speaking these archives are the current status of the craft at the time the hanger build script is executed... it is easy enough for one to have a dev repo and then branch their release versions of their craft and have that release branch copied/updated into FGAddon at some point in time... when that point is is up to whomever is putting the craft into FGAddon... the c172p is done like this...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

Use the QT Launcher for the default fgdata trunk aircraft and add the development repository aircraft directory to the
Add-ons/Additional aircraft locations in the QT Launcher. This requires you to download the development version using GIT or SVN or another method.

I was under the impression that development work was in trunk. I download all of trunk via svn then add the directory in additional aircraft in QT launcher.

Does the QT launcher download from trunk of FGaddon?

With some 24 hour offset, for better or worse it does. The packages which the launcher ships are re-generated every day or so by a script fetching trunk from FGAddon (which might mean that the aircraft downloaded doesn't actually run on the last stable version because it was changed after the release and uses core features currently in development - that's why 'for worse'.

Any other aircraft downloaded by means other the launcher can simply go into a separate directory and the launcher told about it in the relevant tab. If there's a name conflict (because there's stable and devel version of something installed) the order decides - I think first directory in the list wins.

- Fix for viewing the T-bar with the left side detached, as it didn't have a proper end facade on the 3d model and looked transparent.
