Thanks
If you have an aircraft you want to test it with, I can install it quickly.

Part of the ITAF design philosophy was easy to install :)

The optimal aircraft is a jet airliner, but all types can really be used, just not so realistically (until I release ITAF Simple)

The main thing I need tested is the VNAV function, which I will be proceeding to expand. I want to make sure that this base part I have now is working, before I start building much more complex things, and I don't have the time to test at the moment. :(

Thanks for your interest
Josh

I'll tell you what, I have been wanting to install an autopilot on the J3Cub. But I want something that someone in real life might purchase as an upgrade and install in to the Cub. Maybe ITAF Simple would be a candidate. In the meantime, if you have the time to install the current one in the J3Cub, go for it and I will test use it and test it.

OK great Ingo! Thanks!

I'll take a look later today. @wlbragg
Can I have a link to the airplane?

And how I can download from there? It's just files being displayed? (Sorry I never use FGAddon, so I don't know it)

If you have an svn client installed (looks like your on windows) use
svn co https://svn.code.sf.net/p/flightgear/fg ... raft/J3Cub

Or using the qtlauncher just install it.

If neither of those options work I think I can zip it up and give you a pm link to it.

I don't use SVN, only GIT. Sorry

I don't use QTlauncher either...

I think a ZIP would be the most painless ;)

Thanks

Thanks, got it

Okay, I've pushed the Build 169 update. This addresses some issues a tester reported. It should be all working now.

Bye,
Josh

OK this is quite interesting...
It's... uhhh. Interesting.

I made it fly, but I don't think it's the right AP for such a plane... the ITAF GA would be better, and I think I'll use the J3 to help me develop that!

In addition, I pushed Build 169 Bugfix 1 to fix a bug in TOGA mode

OK I've updated all the ITAF VNAV equipped aircraft with the proper PFD annunciations. Even the MD-88/90 non EFD where the FMA isn't working yet. So when I do make it work, the annunciations are correct. I did not yet add the VNAV arm annunciation.

EXCEPTION: KC-137R. I need to change more code before the VNAV stuff shows up there properly. For now, it will just show "VNAV", as it grabs it's Annunciations right from the ITAF GUI Dialog.
