Make the camera follow the objects movement ?

Postby StuartC » Sat Feb 11, 2017 12:45 pm

Placing a camera inside a ship ( I know this is the aircraft area, but there is no ship area ).
The Camera stays static while the ship is animated. ( see video ) :-

The code for the camera position :-

<view n="0">
<internal archive="y">true</internal>
<name>Helm</name>
<type>lookfrom</type>
<config>
<x-offset-m archive="y" type="double">-2.3</x-offset-m>
<y-offset-m archive="y" type="double">12</y-offset-m>
<z-offset-m archive="y" type="double">-21.6</z-offset-m>
<pitch-offset-deg>2.5</pitch-offset-deg>
<default-field-of-view-deg>77.5</default-field-of-view-deg>
</config>
</view>

How do I get the camera to follow the movement of the ship ??

I'm not 100% sure what you want but I think you want "lookat":
