The source code is available from here:

http://www.flightgear.org/cvs.html

There are instructions for building on Windows here:

http://www.oflebbe.de/oflebbe/FlightGear/index.html

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by the "6 degrees of freedom model of an airplane". FG has two main flight models - JSBSim and YASim.

Details of JSBSim can be found here:

http://jsbsim.sourceforge.net/

Most people use Aeromatic to generate a JSBSim FDM.

Details of YASim can be found in the docs sub-directory of your FG data installation as README.yasim.

Good luck.

the six degree model is the mathematical model of the aircraft

each of them have coefficients of lift ie Cl .....coefficients of drag Cd....using these coeffients...any aircraft...is modelled...i want to knw hw ths has been incorporated into FGFS.....
anyway sir thank you for having replied. ..to my topic ....!

I understand now.

I think you'll want to look at JSBSim - it has a coefficient based model configured using XML files with Cl, Cd etc.
