[american] or maybe a flashlight... i don't know that i'd want a flaming torch when inspecting possible fuel leaks ;) [/american]
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

Walker is not part of A32X, part of FGDATA, not sure if we can do that.

I like that i can enter the variant in the search field and get direct to the one i want eg. 214 will get me stright to my prefered variant

Hmm, IIRC, searching should also works with variants.

Yeah... but i still have to select the variant... and if you have a list with ~10 variants your are searching manually again

Standard ; 1) Click to Search, 2) Type '214', 3) Select '214'. (Two clicks and three types)

With variants ; 1) Click list of Airbus A32X, 2) Select 214. (Two clicks)

In both cases, FlightGear will remember the last aircraft you flew.

In fact, this topic may not suitable to talk about functionality of searching upon variants. But, I am at the side of less crowded, more clean and handy list. To me, searching in variants is easier than searching in big list without variants :)

Or rather, 2 variants.

Would that be ok?

We will consider it. Depends on whether it stays convenient, or not.

Just have came up the exactly same idea!

I think this would be nice, just like how 777 currently does.

Because the logic for it needs to be redone, so avoid the sound going off constantly. It's on my todo list.

Thorsten has further revised the main panel, it looks as gorgeous as the new upper pedestal! Everytime we think its done, he comes and makes it even better! :D
