Hello,

Congratulations!

There is a weird white light at APU exhaust. Is it normal?

Kind regards.

Yes, that is the tail navigation light.
CaptB's new model has a model of the actual tail light so we can adjust the position as required once it is released :)

Thanks for the amazing work!

I've just a small question regarding the localizer.
I was in a ATC-controlled session while landing at Lyon (LFLL) RW 18L, with frequency typed in the MCDU.
The controller gave me the vectors till the localizer, but it appeared very late on my screen. ATC told me that I overflown the localizer and had to give additional vectors.
I was about 3000 feets, 150 knots.

Around 9 NM from the runway, the "horizontal purple diamond" appeared and the localizer was immediately captured, but I'm wondering if I missed something here or if everything was OK.
For the record the glide-slope symbol appeared at around 7 NM and the autopilot did its job very well till the runway.

Hi,
in FG, the nav instrument acts incorrect when further from a certain distance from the runway. So, I had to block the intercept that far out. If you intercept as shown on charts, it will work.

Glad you enjoy the aircraft!

Thanks for the info, good to hear that this is a small issue and not a misunderstanding :)

This however is incorrect in quite a few places, as IRL it would be possible to intercept the localizer much earlier (ie: EDDF, try to intercept the 25L localizer (111.15 IFSW) before LEDKI, at
DF626, and see that this does not work, however, IRL this would be standard procedure, and will work).

Yep exactly. The problem is, if I allow it to intercept further out, it will behave very wrong. I'm trying to find the exact source of the problem, and see if solution can found.

Hi guys,
Progress update

I came to the conclusion that the project became quite fragmented and messy internally. We have currently merged all stable changes into master, and are going continue developing the unstable changes now in a new priority based way.

I will have some more detailed updates soon for you.

Kind Regards,
Josh

Hi it0uchpods,

Thank you for your great work.

Not quite a year ago I flew the IDG A32X last. I do not manage to land via ILS. CDU programmed with ILS Freq. and ILS heading, cost factor, flight number set.

Setting at the panel:

ROSE switching on ILS
Button next to FD button selected ILS and APPR under the Vertical Speed knob.
Of course I have AP1 (and ATHR) in operation.

The A320X ignore the glideslope.

The routing works perfectly. Uses but little if I can not use ILS in the final.
Have previously updated my version according to my version.
So what did I forget to set.

Thank you for your support. I am the way I last knew the A32X.

Best Regards
D-ABBA
Have now again cloned the A32X. Maybe it was because of it.

Hi,
At what altitude and distance away did you try to intercept the glideslope?

and yes, if you have a version from a year ago it might be a bit buggy :? Let us know if the reclone helps.

Regards,
Jonathan

Hi legoboyvdlp

Thankyou for your responce.

Oh my God. I chose the wrong plane. Namely from the A320 Family elected and not the IDG-A32X.
This is the plane with the black windows, Canvas Dialog and the new cockpit layout.

Everything works as expected. Excuse me and keep it up.

Thank you for your answer

Best Regards
