Actually I am interested in getting as many bug reports, also about development versions as I can :D
Oh, and generally GPL is always no warranty ;)

Hi,

my previous working version and the newest from github/D-ECHO do not work, it means it is impossible to turn on this aircraft, doesn't matter if I try manual or autostart.

Please for help,

D-ECHO did you come back? :)))
I use the old version of q400 and everything works fine. I would like to test the newest but it is impossible at this moment because we don't have a chance to start the engines...

We are working on the JSBsim version, the FDE still needs ALOT of work, but it's getting there :D

Known issues: Nose is too heavy

Holy ****, it's working! Perfect working.
I have tested autostart and manual start. Excellent.
I have tested auto pilot too, works great.
Tomorrow I will check this aircraft with full flight with ILS approach.

Guys, thank you! Big beer for you! ;-)

Regards,
Lukasz

D-ECHO, Josh,

full flight done. Everything was working good.
I did not test to change pax number and place as you told that nose of Q400 is a little bit heavy.

Thank you one more time.

@Josh, I am impressed by your talent (taking into consideration your age). As an IT manager I would like to have programmer like you in my team. I keep my fingers crossed and I wish you good luck.

Appreciate the compliments. As a computer/aviation geek I don't have many friends (but a few good ones is all you need anyways), so I generally have more time for programming :D

Anyone else think the nose is a little heavy? I think she needs a new Aerodynamics pitch and roll channel. think D-ECHO took it right from the A320, and with my changed mass balance and CG FCS etc, it flies a little odd. I did fix the lift/drag/yaw, but roll/pitch is specifically made for the FBW systems.... which the Q400 does no have! ........... So I will rewrite that pitch/roll channels.

Kind Regards,
Josh

It's becoming an interesting plane to fly. There's a lack of regional aircrafts really working in FG. The CRJ's are great but the autopilot is not nice. The E-Jet family has lots of problems. There's not really one that can compare with the level of realism and developement of the great 777, the excellent (each day better) A320 family from it0uchpods and team, the PAF team's Citation X or the Artix A330. Or the Lake of Constance 707. Really, the regional aircrafts are a little behind. But this Q400 is becoming interesting.
Question: there's no real autothrottle, or am I missing something?

Thanks
And congrats for the great work!

Real q400 doesn't have autothrottle. But in this model is very easy to achieve speed stabilization.

Correct.
Some things are still not fully working with the throttles, but it will be sorted soon.

I've made a a few more changes, should be in git shortly.
