Where and what scenery was this?

This was somewhere in the south of Brazil, I believe maybe around SSSQ. If you like these textures, try also SBTA and SIOU (these are more in the centre of Brazil).

I'm sorry -- that's correct. My fault
Sure! I'm installing the NASA tool to have a look.

gsagostinho, Hey could I get a few hints on 'chrome' for the b1900d? I really like your toggle switches and how they look. In blender my images render and look ok, but in FG they seem very opaque and muted in color. What am I doing wrong?

Hi jaxsin, these effects were implemented by Heiko, so if you can't figure it out just by looking the xml files then I suggest contacting him. Try the mailing list, as I know he reads it.

Cheers,

Hi all,

We are working on the procedural lights now (not finished yet), and Heiko came up with this astonishing shot -- which looks more like a photograph if you ask me -- and so I decided to share here:

Cheers!

Nice one - it illustrates one of my favourite subtle touches, the second specular reflection of the darkening sky giving a glossy appearance even without direct illumination :-)

We should be allowed to like comments. I was thinking the same. Sometimes this game just gets it right. Beautiful picture right there
