EchoAir PropPower

Postby D-ECHO » Sun Nov 22, 2015 7:49 am

Hi everybody!
Today I'd like to present the EchoAir PropPower to you, a 44-seat-commuter powered by a hydrogen engine and two propellers:
Image
Some technical data:
-Approach speed is around 130kts, cruise speed at about 200kts
-There are 44 passenger and two crew seats
-This aircraft uses hydrogen fuel, so it produces no emissions and is more quiet than other aircraft
Known Issues/status/to-do:
-Autopilot is not really working (especially vertical mode shall not be used!)
-minor balance problems
-improve cabin
-sounds
-make own lights
-...
I've based it on the b1900d by Syd Adams (basic files, nasal and sounds) and it uses the lights from the CRJ700 by Ryan Miller (see README).
Here is a short video introduction made in blender:

...and here is the splash screen:

I hope you like it!
You can download this aircraft via git:

Um, I would like to place an order for 40 aircraft, with an option for 20 more. Aircraft are expected @ CYVR.

Cheers,

Ash

P.S. Sorry for being inactive. School, y'know. :D

I just pushed a new version with a better FDM. Autopilot should also work now.

It worked - except for when I tested running out of fuel. The plane goes berserk when the tanks run dry.

I'm sorry but I cant find any special behaviour. Could you maybe post a flight log so we all know what exactly happens (Under File->Save Flight Recorder Tape or so)

The PropPower was renamed to EA64 "Scorpion" for better identification. Repository name changed.
