Looks at least like this repository is alive and well:

Hello,

I have just installed the last version of 737-800 (master branch), I use flightgear 2020.1.3, archlinux,

I notice bad font alignement for the altitude indicator, on the primary flight display (PFD) :

Other planes like a320-family don't have this problem.

Currently is this the best 737 available for flightgear despite its flaws ?

I like the Boeing 777, very successful, it would be interesting to have the same quality with a Boeing 737-NG

The 737-300 as available in FGAddon has implemented data from approved simulators, NTSB-reports and similar.
So highly recommended.
There was a bit of discussion between the authors (Link to be added later) but the end product is highly usable.

If it really needs to be the -800... Train until you can fly five consequitive traffic patterns to an acceptable standard and a raw data single engine ILS-approach in the -300.

This could buy same time until the people with the A320 get this plane done, then get bored and then might have motivation to deal with an airplane of 1960s-origin.

(just learning on another airplane prior being able to contribute.)

I can't speak for the rest of my teammates on the A320-Family, but I can tell you that having a coherent and organized team that is doing something sure makes it more likely others will join to fix a problem or improve things, even if occasionally and out of the sheer need for a change.

It likely would, but depending on your computer specifications and FlightGear settings and version it may or may not have a usable frame rate and/or missing features.

If bandwidth, time and storage is not an issue, just give it a try ;)

Advance the spoilers handle just one position. This can be accomplished by pressing the 'k' key once.

There is no visual indication of the spoilers being armed (other than the handle not being in the full forward position), but they will automatically deploy during touchdown.

Does anyone else see a fuel warning light at all times on this aircraft? I think it may be a bug but I thought is was a bit strange.
