BTW, here's my first ever attempt to contribute, a CDU-view. It might need some finetuning.

Code: Select all
           <view n="108">
      <name>CDU View</name>
      <type>lookfrom</type>
      <internal archive="y">true</internal>
      <config>
        <from-model type="bool">true</from-model>
        <from-model-idx type="int">0</from-model-idx>
        <default-field-of-view-deg type="double">41</default-field-of-view-deg>
        <pitch-offset-deg>-90</pitch-offset-deg>
    <heading-offset-deg>0</heading-offset-deg>
        <x-offset-m archive="y">-0.15</x-offset-m>
        <y-offset-m archive="y">1.33</y-offset-m>
        <z-offset-m archive="y">-17.78</z-offset-m>
      </config>
    </view>

..and yes, I will eventually set up a github account ;)

Maybe I can be of assistance? My strong areas are autopilot tuning, cockpit design, and general development.

Any help welcome!
FDM will be tuned and autopilot too, so it will be my part 100%. About cockpit - watch also work in github.com from rickvavilin (https://github.com/rickvavilin), because he is working on 3D cockpit too.

Hello Pakistan,
I have set texture to the winglet but I am not able to make it change by selecting different livery.
Its surely a xml issue, but i am not good at scripting at all and don't want to get into that.
When selecting a new levery, the option to change the texture of the winglet is not set.

ummm... he means that you might write a message to rickvavilin (https://github.com/rickvavilin) as noted in his previous post ;)
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

I made little, but important update to FDM. Now flight spoilers angles are calculated properly (data from flight tests), including spoiler mixer effects, and lift force calculated for every spoiler set (2-3, 4-5, 8-9, 10-11) with flaps effect. So now it turns much better, especially on low speed with flaps extended. In this case autopilot now captures localizer much better.
