Thank you very much, for your feedback. As wlbragg says, this information is extremely valuable for us, to make the C152 more similar to the real aircraft. Unfortunately, I do not have much time, at this time, to make the development of the plane faster, and for this reason, some systems and instruments have not been implemented yet.

I'm still working on the plane.

Again, thank you very much for the information provided.

Best regards

After a few days of research, the c152 have an operative primer now, and the selection of a single magneto drops engine rpm as expected. :)

I'm working in the other bugs and suggest. I will try to publish and update as soon as possible.

Thank you very much.

Awesome! I'll update next time I play the game!

I wouldn't really call them bugs. More like "improvements yet to be implemented".

As far as flight model goes, you might consider borrowing the model (and engine/prop) from the Cessna 150. I know the 152 has a better prop and better engine than the 150 in real life, but the power of the 150 model feels a bit closer to home.

One more for the list:
I've never been a 152 that still has the original radio panel. I think they've just all died off, and end up getting replaced by the monolithic Bendix/King KX155 . Can this be added as an optional accessory for the 152 model? Basically just copy/pasted code from the Cessna 172.

@awall86 Very nice work on this so far, I just tried the new model and it looks very nice! I just noted a couple of things though:

* the s key doesn't work to start the plane, but clicking on the keys in the panel does
* there is a hole in the nose of the aircraft seen from the cockpit view, see image below
* the side windows have a strange gradient, is that due to the reflection effect? See image below

Hello, I have been using this plane for a bit now and I have to say, it is really nice!

If this is still an active project, for feedback, I would say the glass seems to be tinted a little too dark. Everything else is really nice, the handling seems accurate to me.

Would you be able to make a variant for this plane that has the specs for the Aerobat? I think the main difference is just stronger G tolerance and livery, so maybe it doesn't matter?

This is a great aircraft, thanks for developing it.

Hi, for several months, I have been working in a new update for the 152. Unfortunatelly learn about Flightgear systems, properties, filters, and Nasal language take a lot of time.

One of the jobs has been to migrate development environment (Blender, Flightgear, image edition tools, etc) from Windows to Linux.

Some of the improvements for the next release will be the following:

New electrical system in Nasal made from scratch.
    Circuit breakers implementation.
Avionics was reorganize, for simplicity. Only one Comm-Nav radio system, ADF, audio panel and transponder.
Fuel valve cuttoff, and a new fuel system in Nasal.
New cabin vent and heating system.
    Trim position indicator implemented.
All cockpit labels are remaked, for easy read.
Some exterior and interior textures tweaked.
    Fuel caps added.
    Some changes in flight dynamics.

TODO list:

A lot of things :D

Well then that answered my question as to why I didn't see these changes on the repo. Thanks, looking forward to the updates. I really like your work.

Hello,

After installing latest update I found two problems:

- first after spawning plane is ejected in air or under scenery

- second you can hear ATIS without battery turned on when radio is set correctly via F12 Radio Panel

My FlightGear version: 2020.1.3 for Windows
