If there is a better wy of doing it, sure carry on. I don't know how to do it that way though.

WIP Next gen EC145. Added the Winchman by the GRTux team to the EC145 but with a couple of added querks. His Rope is no longer a rigid object. The Video demonstrates his interaction with the motion and velocity of the Helicopter. Still needs some fine tuning, but the basic principle works. Should make putting the Winchman on target much more fun.

Nice winchanimation! :D Kind of mean to close the door and cut the line in the end of the video, though. ;)

Its just to show he is attached to the head of the winch. There is a paramedic pack inside, he would patch himself up I'm sure.

That's really nice, looks like the perfect function/code and action for cargo tow rope?

Sure this is missing within the Alouette-III , though very easy to introduce the pendulum formula with drag effect and Aircraft movement within JSBSim , probably easier than within YASim .

When preparing the package i have been thinking to improve that animation, and my choice was to spend the free time to improve the FDM , i was wrong since, I could not guess that the interest for Alouette-III was reduced to that object a "man hanging at the bottom of a rope."

So right now i know were are the priority.

Cheers

Stuart,

Congratulations for V1 and the truly amazing promo video!

I have made further improvements to the flight navigation display (FND).
Many details have been added:

- Autopilot annunciators compatible with fg's generic autopilot
- Autopilot target setting markers in alt-/agl-tapes
- Animated the roll scale ring around top of the attitude indicator to match behavior seen on cockpit videos
- added GS deviation indicator (visible if nav[0] has an ILS in-range)
- added wind-speed and -direction indicator
- added slip-skid indicator

However, I have not yet started work on the master list as it turned out to be more complex than expected.

You can download V2 of the MFDs here https://www.dropbox.com/s/1h7a93t6a7tesbv/Helionix-MFD-v2.zip?dl=1

It appears now in the current 3D model that the MFD screens seem to be a bit too small in size compared to the engine control panel, ECP (located under the center MFD). I found a figure in an Airbus manual that implies that ECP and MFD screen should have the same width. In fact I have no information on the exact true dimension of the MFDs. Did you use known dimensions for the model of the ECP? If so I should increase the size of the MFDs accordingly to match the ECP's width.

I sized the panel to fit roughly with the size on the texture file on the mainpanel. Its all just guesswork and what looks to be right.
Downloaded the new panel versions. Thanks.
