I'll do this. I'll pick 'em up from Seattle/South Carolina, and fly them to KMHV.

No problem!
Right, I'll go ahead and make those engines then :)
Need to do some major FDM changes first.
MSA -- how are you sending the rudder fixes and new livery? git? email? PM?

But the aircraft are NOT ready yet to fly to KMHV. The FDM need done; they need UV mapped. I'm working on the FDM as I type.

Pakistan-1 -- I'm sorry, but they will have to be Trent 1000's, as I'm not sure how to have more than one engine per FDM.

You should have it already.

Okay, thanks for the report, MSA :)

Standby!
The easiest way is:
Use Aeromatic to make the engine.
http://jsbsim.sourceforge.net/aeromatic2.html (STEP 1 ONLY)
Send it to me via private message
Then I'll commit it, adding a new -set.xml.

Guys, quick note regarding the model you're using:
Just letting you know that if you're using my (published by MSA) model, then it is more accurate in terms of the cockpit area. The windshields are actually, gasp, matching the thing in real life.
That's all I have to say. And please edit the 787-9 texture on the other model - it's just a stretched version and it's way off.

I applaud your initiative in getting the 787-9 going. I hope you don't mind a little constructive criticism.

It looks like you took the 787-8 model and scaled the whole fuselage object (and the tail) in the x direction. By doing it this way, the tapers at the nose and the rear of the fuselage look like they're way too long, and the shape of the tail is off too. Have a look at the 787-8 model that you appear to have based this on and you'll see what I'm talking about. The shape of the nose and the rear end should be pretty much the same between the -8 and -9. Wouldn't it be better to just stretch the middle section (or even better, add sections fore and aft of the wings)? Then you would retain the proper shape.

That's what I was thinking too....

Tikibar, can you UVMap? If so, we could make a totally different model.
