Thanks Jonathan :). Please do help me to spread this video around-the more people, the better! That touch and go was indeed spectacular, I touched town for about five seconds then rapidly lifted the nose up and banked full right, and it sure was thrilling!

Hi,

I don't know how the cockpit textures were saved, but 12 MB for 777\Models\Textures\Cockpit\FE.png is way too much. Re-saving the texture gives the same visual quality at "just" 2 MB. That's easy! :-) It would be nice to avoid such cases, especially on base package aircraft.

Cheers,
Gijs

@Vladimir:
You will need to:
  1. open the Aircraft directory;
  2. move the existing "777" directory (the "old Boeing") to a safe place;
  3. rename the directory you downloaded from Git to "777" (this is important, otherwise the aircraft will not work);
  4. move that directory to the Aircraft folder.

I think you skipped the "rename" part.

Wow! It's really amazing! Good work! Will be a time when FG aircrafts will be better than PMDG and Aerosoft models ;)
Best regards

Is the weather radar available on this aircraft? If yes, how can I turn it on?

Imgur error

TrueNorthist wrote in Wed Apr 30, 2014 3:28 am:Absolutely beautiful work. I just flew a Seattle version around the world. (777-200LR) However, I am having a slight problem. My Nav display is not functioning properly. Here is a pic with the Canvas Dialog opened for detail:

It simply does not function at all and stays like the picture regardless of settings. Is it possible I messed up my install somehow? A work in progress? I cloned it and it works fine with the exception of the display. Note the Co-Pilot Nav display is blank.

I should add that I am using today's Git FG on Windows 8.
This screenshot is erased. I just wanted you to be notified about this. :mrgreen: :idea:

Maybe you could reupload it :?:

Be advised that that post is, er, 2 years old! The bug has since been fixed, so hardly any point, is there?
