If you haven't pressed 'Activate' on the RTE or LEGS page of the CDU or in the Route Manager dialog, the route won't appear. Changing the departure runway after activating will de-activate. Overflying the destination airport will usually de-activate.
John,
ND:
Nope. I was flying along. Then it just disappeared. Then it came back about 2 mins later???
Bank Limiter and LNAV:
Just beware: in the real aircraft, LNAV doesn't follow the bank limiter switch. It is hard set to 25 deg under a certain altitude, (I'll grab that for you tomarrow) and then reduced to 15 or 20 above that altitude.
Target Roll Degree:
The strange thing happens before the FD. Target roll deg doesn't change. So how does the roll modes work? I am going to mess around with it.
Aileron Droop:
Let me just warn you that what you did would *disable* the animation, so the aileron could get stuck drooped on certain conditions. I am going to use a filter to fix this, and set the /surface-positions/aileron-droop to flaps, if controls/flight/droop is true, and back to 0 if it's false. I'll do it all tomorrow. Also, when we implement dialaflap, that will be helpful.
Speaking of dialaflap, I'm trying to add it to my MD-88/MD-90 family right now, so I'll port that to the MD-11 later if I succeed. Then I'll model the dial in the VC.
Autospoiler:
Also autospoiler doesn't seem to work properly.
Spoilers 3 on touchdown, then when nose gear down, spoilers 4.
In the air, you cannot select more than spoiler 3. Can you add this as well? (when you have time of course
)
AFDS:
APPR/LAND button should arm BOTH LOC and G/S. It cannot be unarmed with the button, only if another roll mode is commanded. (HDG HLD, SEL, LNAV) Changing the Pitch mode does not disarm G/S or LOC.
In other news, the Systems Display has now 2 pages and a switcher! Pitch trim handle animation was wrong, I fixed. Coming soon...
I've pushed an update to Mach by Pitch. it should be less aggressive now. Also a fix in exterior stab trim animation.
Best,
Josh
