LesBof: If your flaps joystick button uses the commands "controls.flapsDown(1)" and "controls.flapsDown(-1)", you can override that command with some Nasal like this:
Code: Select all
controls.flapsDown = func(step) {
    if (!step) return;
    if (step < 0) shift_up();
    if (step > 0) shift_down();
}

(either define shift_up() and shift_down() as functions, or replace their lines above with actual code.)

It should hopefully be small change :).

Considering that you also have to have the clutch disengaged when you make a shift would require additional Nasal scripting to make this work on a Joystick.
