you may want to either extend the wiki's walker article or come up with a new article for this

Well the rider figure isn't the walker of Detlef's, but I managed a working kludge of the Jeep nasal that Alral made for Detlef's Jeep that works surprisingly well for this little bike, it's about as close to a real small motorbike as it virtually gets. I'd like to interpret an engine h.p./torque curve table into the thruster drive but I would need help doing it.

My new video of the Yamaha YG1 being ridden from the A3 to A18 and Creg-Ny-Baa. Both the Yamaha and the Ducati have optional manual shift gearing, and the Yamaha has Rembrandt enabled/auto-selected lighting for the headlight and tail-light. I will have the Vespa updated with gearing and Rembrandt lighting soon.

Welcome to the TT 2014 ;)
Thanks a lot for your work.
I will update my page this morning, if the work is done.
Have a look on the http://marc-kraus.de/fg for the Suzuki-GSX-R1000
with Guy Martin and William Dunlop as "pilots"

Bye

You go Marc! I'm completely blown away, that is freakin' awesome! Can you do a 1975 Ducati 900SS?

I've done some editing to Marc's Gixxer, so it now has a 6 speed transmission, Marc should have it available soon. There's also some surprises for the TT course that will be up on his web-site in a couple of weeks that will amaze.

Marc has done some more magic to the Isle of Man TT course, I think we should give him a big THANK YOU! for the hard work he's done. :D :o If you go to http://marc-kraus.de/fg/ and download the scenery file for EGNS you'll be in for some new surprises. I'm also planning some small improvements and details to add in a few days/week or so.

There's also a new version of the Suzuki GSX-R 1000 with some additional work done, although it might preclude being driven by users using mouse control, so you might want to keep the old version handy, cut and paste the old one into a appendix folder off of fg/data. I usually call this 'fg/data/old_models'.

BTW Marc, Thank You.

Everything is done. The transmission script is written new, cause the old one did not provide the behavior of the fast bike :) But thank you for the idea LesterBoffo. The steering by mouse is also possible, take the m-key to activate it.
The Scenery is possible to play now and the best of all, you can see your sector and lap times, also this ones from the multiplayer ...
In the package on my site there are the Suzuki-GSX-R1000 and the BMW-S-1000RR now.
BMW with ASC and ABS. Feel the difference.
The Scenery from Lester include the wonderful Braddan Church now and more road patches.
So enjoy it ... spread your wings on the Isle of Man.

Hello LesterBuffo,
I am using still using fg 2.6 since my computer configuration is old, I downloaded the isle of man scenery and the latest bikes from http://www.marc-kraus.de/fg/. I have not quite managed to figure out how to start the older bikes and the newer ones (BMW and Suzuki) are not appearing in the aircraft list inspite of having saved them in the aircraft folder. Moreover, the scenery seems to disappear into the ground (sometimes the track is missing in some areas), mountains and is shaped like steps in some areas :(. Could anyone tell me how to solve this problem?. I would also like how to insert images in this mail, I have taken some screenshots of the terrain with the isle of man racing track.

Thanks,
Arul

Hi Arul,

Well if you are running 2.6 there's more than a likely chance you're running an older version of the scenery, the Isle of Man TT course needs the 2.0 terrain mesh that is presently uploaded through terrasynch. The only advice I can offer is to try and see if you can get terrasynch to upload new scenery for the terrain and object folders that the island scenery resides in.

The bikes could possibly be incompatible with 2.6 it's been years since I ran it so, I can't say for certain.

I'd first try deleting the w010n50/w005n54 folders to see if you can get the new 2.0 terrain.

Please, only delete the w005n54 folders in objects and terrain. You also might be running into a problem with Marc's editing of the .stg's files in Objects. Always check your console, ( DOS Box if running windows ) it should show what problems are causing the terrain to not show correctly
