ERJ 145 Development

Postby UnitedErj145 » Mon Feb 10, 2014 2:27 pm

I saw on the forum that the plane is in development by Eric Kenning & Gijs de Rooy but I can't find a download anywhere, and then I read on the forum that FG Australia and the omega hangar were making this plane. Does anyone have a download of it? I even checked the FG git to no avail.

Hi,

just had a quick look, but I no longer have this one on my computer. Fortunately we didn't really get that far (mainly an exterior model IIRC), so you won't loose much by starting from scratch. ;-)

Cheers,

I kinda meant it as a request, as i'd REALLY like to see this plane in flightgear

As Gijs said, the files are not there anymore.

You've got three options now:
1) Set out a bounty ($100? $250?) to "motivate" someone to make a new model.
2) Get into the art of making aircraft and make a model yourself.
3) Wait until someone else makes a model. (Note: This could take forever.)

I never knew it actually costed money to get models in this.

It doesn't, all it takes is patience or elbow grease. ;)

That being said, using monetary rewards as incentives have been mentioned in the past, though mostly on a hypothetical level.

Unfortunately the time required to do a great aircraft would be prohibitively expensive if it would be done with a pay comparable to an ordinary job. A commercial grade aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator or X-Plane at the other hand could have several hundreds or perhaps several thousands of buyers to take the cost.

There was a bounty for RAH-66 Comanche but the guy never paid 15$ for charity!
Earlier someone offered to pay for PC-9 but when it was finished we never heard from him. :(

Hi UnitedErj145

The aircraft in question is it this one :
Image

If this is the case, I can model it in maximum 2 or 3 days with a average quality, but enough to start.

This is not the type of airplane that I like the more, but I have never refused to model airplanes to those who ask :)

Hi helijah,
I'm not the author of the topic, but I would very much like to see this aircraft modeled and ready for flight.

Hi helijah,
I am enjoying your pictures, and you're fast in modeling, and a work well done. I believe that this aircraft will be very good, I think the Embraer very pretty. :)
I thank for his work in developing the ERJ145

I think it's painting of BMI
