Hi all,

finally i've managed to upgrade the tutorials. Sorry for the delay, but i had some rl issues...

However, you can get the new version here

Also, i've integrated the show/hide function of the GPS.
Hope, you like it. :)

Just let me know: What do you guys think about having one or two pilots in the cockpit (maybe with the option to hide/show them)
I personally don't like empty cockpits without pilots, because in reality there are not ghost flyers

But if you built a low-poly human 3D model on it, it would look like a zombie. LoooooooooooooooooooooooL

Zombie or ghost, that's a problem. Just joking, never mind.

It is a good idea. Or build something animated like this

Pitch for speed is for a better climbing. This aircraft's Best Rate of Climb Speed (Vy) is about 100 knots (or some companies say 95 knots). So, if we want to climb fast, we set AP IAS to 100, and push the power to MCP (full power in this model), then we will get the best rate of climb.

In cruise, we usually use the AP ALT. We have to use the throttle to manage the ias. There is a calculator, or we can use this chart.

I understand that it is a little complicated, and this chart has a copyright. So I may consider to write yet another one for it. Or write a built-in ias-torque calculator in menu option.

Yes, these new sounds and texture are really amazing!

Thank you for the good work! :D

Sincerely,
Bo

This version of the UH-1D Hiey has a very nicely animated pilot.
Maybe i can do something like this for the pilot of our Twin Otter. But i've never done this before, this wold take some time...
At least i can try it someday.

Please let avoid obscene puppets put in wonderful aircraft ... They are good only for views at a distance of 10-50 meters :(

Hi,

The improvements of the week.

A big cleaning, and all files are stored in appropriate folders.

ALL .png were optimized without loss of quality, but with a good weight gain.

My hangar is updated with the aircraft of the video.

Good flight

Nice presentation of the new version
One question: Do you use FG Camera?

A short flight: LFLR (01L) to LFLS (09) in France in the Rhone Valley, near the Alps.
--airport=lflr
--runway=01L
--nav1 = 109.30
--adf = 291

It looks just amazing.

I guess, if you fly in France, you will see. Just turn on the TerrSync.

I have finally arrived Patten's home... LFLR from de Gaulle (LFPG). I completely used long range dead reckoning skill and the VOR 110.25 with a course of 145...

The weather is super bad there, and it almost killed me. When I was about there within 10 minutes, I descended to about 3000 ft QNH, and follow the 145/110.25. However, this vor has no DME. Then I followed the river and the highway. I saw a really really beautiful town and a large factory. Looked at highway, I could even see cars and trucks...

LFLR is a grass airstrip, so I turned on the intake deflectors... Then I got a very good touchdown with about 1.06 G-force and -80 FPM...

These areas are very beautiful.

My badass landing:

Due to the bad weather, this is the first time I spotted scenery and land... This factory almost saved me.

Then I flew along the river, that's really amazing...

Finally spotted Patten's airstrip...

Patten has cleaned and merged a lot of things. I will stop adding new feature in the next few days (or weeks), and clean up my nasal codes based on Patten and dg-505's updates, because bad nasal codes will slowdown the FPS a lot. I will try my best to polish them and provide good quality codes for you. I understand that many of you still have troubles about engines management, speed management, and long range navigation. I may record a second video to introduce more about these things.

Even if the GPS is not visible, the fps fall, I deleted it for testing, and everything is OK (see video).

For a speed management as I'm used to, it must pass the value of zero wind, otherwise the speed remains on 44 kts whatever the wind direction.
