KL-666, could you tell what plane is "other plane" which displays correctly?

Thanks,

Last plane 707-3J9C, but i remember other planes too, also the old 777. At EDDF 114.2 always gave long distance DME, but not now in the 777 only at 30 mi.

Is ND display wrong? PFD display is O.K., right?
Then as Hooray said it was fixed in the git version. RC version does not have the fix yet.

As far as i can see, the nav1 dme is displayed in pfd. I always put the vor in nav2, and look at the second screen for dme. If there is a problem fixed in the second screen, and not yet in rc2, then i'll just wait for the next rc.

Regarding the ND, it's a bug - you can work around by it by adjusting the settings on the copilot side, full explanation at: viewtopic.php?f=71&t=21509&p=200244#p200244

Just to make sure, in all the reactions and references i see pictures about viewing airports and beacons from a birds perspective. I am not talking about that. Just having plain arrows pointing at VOR, and then there should appear DME in the left or right bottom of the secondary (ND) display.

Now on rc4, and found out a dependency for displaying nav2 dme in the ND right bottom.

Put in 2 reachable vor's in nav 1 and 2. Look at the dme's in the left and right bottom of ND. They both show.

Now change nav1 freq to an unreachable vor. Now both dme's are gone, even though the one in nav2 is still reachable.

If this is the bug that is fixed according to Hyde and Hooray, then it is just not in rc4 yet.

Nice catch, KL-666.

There's typo and wrong property use.
I will report to Gijs who is actually coding.

Thanks,
Hyde

Hello Hyde,

Glad to have been able to help to make this great plane better.

Did you think about reversing the mouse wheel roll on the V/S knob? If reversed, it rolls parallel with the V/S knob on the AP panel (now it rolls opposite).

Kind regards, Vincent

Already changed.

Hi Hyde,

Great to have the V/S mouse roll more natural. Actually i find roll-forward = down more natural for all the knobs sinse forward is down in flying. But that is my personal opinion.

There is something else more serious with the AP V/S. It is alright that the numbers get black. But if you start rolling on V/S from black, the rolling should start at 0000, and not the last input.

Kind regards, Vincent

Hi Hyde,

Another minor thing is that if ND is zoomed out to a circle compass, the number that should be 6 (60 degrees) is 4.
