Thanks guys, Algernon don't rush, I've used to do that due to trial expiration time. :D

Last updates:

*3d model cleanup and normal fixes
*weapon models are resized to match real dimensions
*external pylons with weapons selectable via livery menu
*animated cockpit (stick, throttle, pedals and gear handle)

That's all from me for some time. :wink:

I havent been able to download it. The downlad host you use just doesnt do anything when I try to download it. :(

I've examined the F-35B now and came to conclusion
-> Auto-pilot should be repaired
-> Mid Air Refueling system to be implemented
and may I get a video link of F-35 "B" variant which after burns ?
model looks better than before, new eye-candies (like the external pylon) and pilot model.

I saw the video, because of darkness, its not a guarantee that the after burning model was B variant :) and at the beginning it was said that it was "CTOL"

The F-35B has an afterburner, but... the afterburner/augmentor only functions in "conventional flight" IE - like the F-35A/C F135-PW-100/-400

Alternative FDM. Its now manageable in a hover. FDM doesnt take in to account the weapons yet.

I gave it a try, much better in VTOL but it's tricky in CTOL. :D

It my one. Once Algy builds the FCS into the aircraft it should work better. I sorted out the Hover and gave it the agility of a 5th gen fighter, currently untaimed by an FCS, but its still manageable.
The FCS will need to block the afterburner while in VTOL mode as currently, if you over throttle it the afterburner kicks in and the forward lifting fan has not got anything like enough power to compensate for that, although it has got twice the thrust of the previous FDM.
Algy will have access to this one as I uploaded it with installed in the F35 to the FGUK development area for him.

The Stores option list will need reworking a bit to distinguish which are internal/external better and also the fuel tanks need configuering properly ( its also light on fuel at the moment ).

Great stuff, Stuart - I now have quite a few days at home in which to get my teeth into the FCS, and I'll try first to balance out the differences between VTOL and CTOL. Also, VooDoo da Vinci wants to do some work on ambient light settings and the like, and has asked me to pass on his email details as he doesn't use this forum. I'll send you his address by PM. More news later today I hope!

I've replaced the FDM with StuartC's and uploaded the package to my hangar. This package won't be updated by me untill you do your part of the job. Don't know will you use GIT to colaborate but you're welcome to push it and replace the existing F-35B.

We are running a development version in our Developers hanger at FGUK. This is how the FGUK team collaborates as we dont currently have GIT access.
