That does not solve the problem. Sorry for the late reply to your question.

But for some strange reason, the autopilot begins working again when I am near the final destination. Maybe it is solved by descending? I will need to check that and I will tell you whether descending (or ascending) fixes the autopilot problem.

I have been able to fly SIDs and STARs perfectly, but when I am flying between waypoints at cruise altitude, I often begin to head off course and I am forced to manually re-direct the aircraft. The LNAV becomes useless, except to keep the plane steady and on the same track as when you turn it on.

I think I found the source of the problem.

If you try to hold the alititude by clicking 'Hold' on the autopilot, the heading will remain the same as when you clicked it.

Hi Andino,

From user posts in Japanese FG Forum, I found Tab key (Cycle mouse mode) doesn't work with August 2, 2014 version of A340-600HGW.
Please delete following part in A340-600HGW-set.xml.
Code: Select all
            <key n="9">
                <name>Ctrl-I</name>
                <desc>toggle auto spoilers</desc>
                <binding>
                    <command>nasal</command>
                    <script>controls.toggleAutoSpoilers();</script>
                </binding>
            </key>

Thank you.

There is a new version of the A340-600HGW ready for download. It has minor changes...

The Tab problem mentioned by Toshi is resolved. It has been adapted to FG 3.2. Therefore, ATIS is working again.

It can be downloaded, as usual, from here: http://andinogonthaeler.wordpress.com/

I have been doing little changes to the A340-600HGW:

– Improvement of some textures.
– Fuel system: fuel truck and fuel dump system.
– De ice truck.
– New Liveries: Pan Am (fictional) and Iberia new livery
- Crash animation (different when full loaded and when few fuel).
– Some bugs corrected.

Lovely. Maybe you can port Artix's work with the A330-200 to this plane? viewtopic.php?f=14&t=23736

To solve it, it would be needed to bake new liveries, because this aircraft has a new engine. I hope it could be done sometime in the future.

Thank you for your interest!
