Airbus A350XWB Development

Postby Sbyx » Fri Jul 05, 2013 12:05 am

On behalf of the ACJZA Hangar, I would like to present the in development Airbus A350XWB

Git Repository can be found here: https://github.com/Sbyx13/A350XWB

Here is the in-development cockpit - so far we have laid out a base model, set a texture (will be changed eventually), and placed a screen in. We will be trying to create our cockpit digital screens using canvas.

Here is a picture of the model of the plane:

We have do not have a date that will estimate when our aircraft will arrive into the world for our pilots. We will put it on a hanger later on when we create it, thank you for your support and patients.

I would like to tell you, our Cockpit developer has been away for some while. We are not getting much updates as of now.

Now that's what I call bleeding edge add-on making! Not even MSFS has an A350 (with 3D cockpit) yet!

Errrr, believe me that does *not* qualify as a good cockpit (the MSFS one). Nice try though, but still a lot of details gone wrong (and calling the trim indicator "flaps" sort of annoys me :p, especially since it disappears once airborne)
+ the A350 only has 3 gears (the green lights are A380 stuff mixed with A340-300 for the autobrake selector keys)
+ there are no more RMIs (replaced by integrated electronic standby instruments)
+ no terrain on ND sort of buttons
...
No really you can do much better than that. Only that it is going to take years to get to something realistic...
Good luck

Well, when I was gone for 8 days. It looks like the team brought up a wonderful cockpit. We will be starting some animations soon.

I have to say that my cockpit development is going to slow down because of school begins on thursday and it is very hard to find pictures of the center console with texts.

As of now we are nearly finished our Cockpit and it looks great! All we need is a Great FDM to go with it!

Nice work!

Maybe you know this site already, but here you can find a 360° cockpit view: http://www.a350xwb.com/x-tra/360-cockpit-view/

Yes
It is quite near the real cockpit :)

After technically, I think that some rotactor are missing (ATT rotactor, and air data) , but I think that they are coming soon :)
You can add the lights rotactor on the far left and right sides, and the OIS push button. They are not set on the 360° view.

Very great work :)
