You've said that before... not only once.

Engine failure == Engine lack of success???
I'm not a native speaker like you so when it comes to english language you're defenetly better than me... I take that as an opportunity to learn from those who are better and I will if they teach me something.

[...] This is why we review every pull request, and reject work that does not match the real plane enough, or is not stable enough. In fact, I even took you up on it and merged into a separate branch, something I usually do not do.

I totally agree with that but then you shouldn't reject a PR from begin but just add a change request so the PR will meet your criteria. This can just result in a win-win cause the contributor learns your criterias better and you get the contribution, removing the need to do $thing your self.

How about accepting that there's space for improvement (and maybe accepting some of them).
I don't do that to blame you but to help others to get to a point where they can say that they know how to run an OSS project sustainable with a transperent development process without beeing in your place where they get criticized for their managment. Of course there can always be some improfment but most of the possible of that should be minor or due to something new (for example a new tool) has been introduced.

cossack90: Note that this is a FGMEMBER problem. You're probably won't find anyone, who'd fix it, here.

For more information on FG and FGMEMBERS see this post.

To the contrary - there are quite a few here with FGMEMBER commit permissions... nevertheless, it would seem that FGMEMBERS (at least the people who started it) is pretty much inactive given they don't seem to be pulling from FGADDON anymore.

I'll have a look at the A350 later on today.

I have already updated the autopilot, but I have to tune it.

I am attempting to correct the tanks - however, when I remove a tank in the JSBSIM file FlightGear crashes...?

the JSBSim file is an XML file, right? have you tried loading it in a browser to see if there are any tag errors? maybe xmllint might find something?
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

looks simple enough... gotta wonder what caused the crash when removing one tank... dunno how they are tied together in the FDM, though... possibly more than one place needed edits to remove a tank?

Make sure none of your engines are pulling from a non-existant tank. Remember they start from 0.
