New Spitfire Mark

Postby Flying toaster » Mon Feb 12, 2007 5:25 pm

A somewhat intermediary version of the Mk IX.
Still the old round rudder and recessed canopy, but new cannon wing with small fairings (C or E wing ?), increased surface elevators and deep air inlet (filter)

One of my favorites (if not the favorite) aircraft to ever grace the air...

Still have some work to do on it before release, but just wanted to let known that I am working on it if somebody wants to assist ;)

Cheers

Stunning as ever... the MxIX, anyway. The Griffon engined Spits are much less pretty IMO :-)

WOW!

Talent, 'Toaster. Sheer talent. That and a lot of work. It looks good and I can't wait to fly her.

Thanks for sharing your updates and the progress report...I'll have to get you to teach me how to create aircraft for FGFS. I have a powerful desire to do an FW-190 A-8 but I have not the skills to do so.
