A small update FDM. Inverted flight became available to everyone. :)

The last commit (eedc0e9) inserted this

Code: Select all
+ <system file="electrical">
 + </system>

but the file electrical.xml doesn't exist in Systems

I'm guessing this file needs to be added to the repository? With that in & the file missing it fails to start/crashes - commenting it out allows it to work again, but I'm still getting constant sink when inverted

I've done a few updates the MiG-29_9-12 here:

https://github.com/alexeijd/MiG-29_9-12

Fixes/additions include:

- All models single sided (frame rate is more consistent)
- Liveries by Oleg Ard from the Russian forum
- electrical system errors on console fixed (Richard)
- New engine sounds (Geed)
- amb settings corrected (VooDoo)
- Transparency removed from main texture, insignia moved to separate texture - this and some model effects removes the dayglow effect from the model under Rembrandt
- ALS afterburner (still needs some tweaks)
- combined-deferred based model shader effects on exterior (still needs some tweaks)
- tweaked smoke (still needs modifications)
- FDM fixed so that roll rate is symmetric
- FCS fixed so that roll damping is based on roll rate and not roll angle (fixed aileron blip at +/-90 degrees pitch)

I'm working on making sure everything is working over MP, and fixing the landing/taxi lights - after that, who knows...

Recent fixes added:

- all animations should work over MP, but payloads probably require 2017+ as they use the short int variable
- cockpit, panel, & instrument visibility changed (all were set to 50m in the main xml, now set in their own xml at 1500m,50m,50m respectively)

working on lights at the moment - the taxi/landing lights are only visible in rembrandt at the moment

I press s and I heard the engine sounds, but after that I push forward the throttle nothings happens....so I wonder if I should use a specific procedure

Starting is via the menu - Mig-29- -> Autostart

There is also the start procedure in a PDF in the Docs directory
