Diamond DA20 "Katana" (improving current git version)

This is going to be interesting as a Diesel with YAsim, as there's no magnetos, the engine has really high compression ratios and the shutdown is usually done by cutting the fuel to the injectors.

I'm the original poster of this thread and I can't remember I worked on the DA20! I don't think I have any of the development files any more.

I love both the DA20 and DA40 in real life. They are very comfortable and easy to fly. It is going to be very interesting to see improvements on any of them in FlightGear.

I have updated the Katana with some minor updates to make it fly better and asi, rpm and flaps. Just learning aircraft building/updating.

Yes I am interested in taking your FG1000 and making an FG500. The DA-20 has that option in real life rather than the FG1000. OR is that what you are planning also?

Real one, current on the website uses the G1000 as an option.
