Yeah that makes sense. Is anyone still working on it? Not sure if I could learn how to, I'm not a programmer.

Not really, apart from liveries.

You don't need to be a C++ programmer to fix airplane errors!

Hi!
I believe the wingflexer-bug is back again since version 2016.1.0 -

Could anyone check this to make sure it's not a bug in local setup? If you have FG >= 2016.1.0, startup the 787-8 and then immediately switch to chase view. Please tell me if you see the wings flapping during the first seconds.

If someone verifies the bug, I'll fix it in FGAddon if there are no objections.

Thanks

Wow, I just quickly ran this test and thought I saw a pterosaur! The wings were flapping around like crazy, curling upwards and downwards completely, with the wings going through the aircraft!? Very strange.

Regards,
Edward

Yeah, creepy, isn't it :) Thanks for the quick response!
Apparently something changed in version 2016.1.0 that made my first bugfix worthless, I'll fix it tonight.

WHOA!!! i just tested this with the one in fgaddon and yeah, that thing is flapping like crazy! holy mackerel whatta bird!
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."
