Boeing 757-200PF (Freighter) Development (new 752)

First of all, this is NOT a conversion of the old one... I could save a lot of work in simply converting it but, well the old one's kinda pathetic. I might still modify and use the old one's FDM and systems. Anyway, I started working on the model about 11 hours ago and here's what I have so far. :D

interesting... will this be availible to everyone or will it be availible to only MIA like your 777? and will you later transform it into the normal passenger version?

If it won't, I wouldn't have posted it here :P (like the 777-200F for example)

No, I don't think so. The reason I started this project was for merlion cargo (even though it'll be out to the public), so I don't really need a passenger version.

And Tristan, please use proper punctuation. :?

Lol, I've got that complaint for EVERY plane I've modeled... I guess that's just my weakness.

I guess so... -Omega, if it helps, make that part of the windshield less rounded and more flat.
From what I see, that looks like the problem, but I'm not sure.... -'hope this could solve your problem!
Look for "B-BIRD" "N127KY" or "AVA0004" -that's me.

Despite having over 1700 posts here, I am not even close to being the most skilled guy here... I'm just words and bad drawing, not experience. :P

For the correct modeling of a plane the up/down, side and front/rear views arent enough, you need information about the cross section, some good blueprints, for example some of cessna which I owned and then threw away some years ago (now I regret) include the cross section every 1 meter for example. This blueprints I owned also included the airfoil at different parts of the wing. It was a 1975 catalog which included almost every Cessna.

For the case of airlines I think that information is not available, so what you can do is:
1) your best effort.
2)use a good photo (an angle shot) to estimate mathematically the cross section which will be painful.

Omega95's stuff went down with Gitorious shutting down. We managed to get some stuff out of there before 'it blew', but this was probably not spared.

That is a bit sad, he spent a lot of time developing and improving his stuff. :(
