Yes the switch is hidden, but it was also in the real life. We have planned to put OSGtext and your idea about a keyboard shortcut is a good things, we will do that. Thanks

Sealbhach wrote in Tue Sep 27, 2011 12:28 am:P.S. Are you making a simple autopilot?

Yes, the DC-3 C47 have an old autopilot on the center of panel. It is under development ;)
I know many things are yet under development... but I thing the current version is usable.

Under development:
- Fuel system
- Panel instrumentation (oil pressure, autopilot, ASI...)
- FDM (very big improvement should be done on it)
- Simulation of many system (fuel pump, feathering propeller, de-icer...)

Clément

I've finished the livery and just noticed the new version has a separate texture file for the propellers, Is this going to stay this way :?:

It seems a waste to load an extra file for something that is already on the livery texture or is there a special reason for this :?:

Cheers

Hi Brett,

Effectively the new version has separate the texture file for the propellers. The reason of this change is the improvement of the propeller animation (advance).
I will report your good suggestion to helijah because this change is from him.

I tell you when I have new information about this.

PS. Some new information : the system with 2 files stay.

Cheers,
Clément

You're welcome :)

It's seems there may be a delay in getting them into the database so I'll put the downloads here temporarily.

Lol can anyone believe that a plane is finished one day ?

gooneybird : Please, can you remove the registration of your livery. Indeed, the dynamic immatricualtions were added. Thanks.

Nice work on this guys! I look forward to being part of the quadruple-crew at FSweekend! :D

Problem with those is that - in reallife - people tend to paint their registrations on different locations... ;)

I'll not remove the original download but for those whose want to use Dynamic Immatriculation here's a replacement texture file, just replace the original file with this.

Personally I feel that a livery should be as authentic as possible and creating a half livery just does not interest me at all.

I know this has been discussed before but surely there must be a way of using Dynamic Immatriculation without destroying the original livery.

The plane interior looks nice. My congratulations to the development team, they are doing a very great work! :)
(It just needs some small corrections in the front of the cokpit, where walls and panel are overlapping themselves).

However, i believe than add an option to hide the cone lights -like in CRJ and ERJ families- could be a great addition. Being not a real illumination and looking so sharp and irreal, some people don't like those cones... like me

Hey El Flauta. You have probably not noticed, but above the driver there is a significant number of switch. The fifth and sixth should be useful for you.

I was talking about the cones which try to simulate a light ray, not about any aircraft light itself.

In example, in the CRJ-700 Family pilots can hide the cones, despite they have turn on the aircraft lights. That's great, since 3D "light cones" looks ugly & bad (sorry, but that is my opinion)
