can you make the files in zip rar or tar formats think of the macs :D

I find with some interactive cockpits that I can turn the knobs to the right but I can't turn them back in the other direction. So I can set altitude for 11,000 but when I click on the knob I can't bring it back down to 3,000. No matter where I click around the knob, it will only go in one direction, to the right, meaning the desired altitude keeps going up. Did anyone else encounter this problem? IS the E170 free of this problem?

If you have a mouse,

Click on the switch with the left mouse button to increase the value.
And Click on the with with the middle mouse button (scroll bar button) to decrease the value.

If you don't have a mouse, (i.e. you use a laptop, like me)

Click on the switch with the left mouse button to increase the value.
And Click on the switch with BOTH left and right mouse buttons together to decrease it.

The original folder is 94 MB, 7zip makes it 35, that's why I used 7zip. For mac, you can use p7zip or EZ7Z but available from that link.

I just tried this plane, looked pretty impressive I must say! Only there is a storm of error messages when I load up the model, all about different bits and pieces it cant find, some of which it looks for in an a321-related folder? Maybe you should include all files needed in your zip.

I'm gonna keep trying to fly this airplane though, looks neat :mrgreen:

As far as I know, all the models in this plane have been modeled for this and doesn't use many of other planes models (except for some operations which've been moved to this folder). Can you post teh error messages exactly how it is? Btw, are you using v1.1? A TCAS dependency error was there in v1.0 but that's fixed in 1.1. :D

Well, when I click on any embraer in the fgrun plane select screen, it gives me: cant find /data/aircraft/a321/models/lights/light-cone.xml
It doesnt show the actual plane in the preview window, as it does with the other planes.

Then, when I start loading, I get many errors. Here's a selection (I cant copy everything from the dos window, but if you resolve these, I promise to paste the remaining!)

hey nice aircraft i installed it and most things work great

(big) minor stuff:
turning is very inconvenient when i "lean" to the left or right it nearly satys the same heading
the map doesnt work or is it just for looking at?
the plane lets you go @ speeds of 580 without simrate


and how do i turn on RAT? you said i had to click somewhere but don't see it anywhere.

i like the model the cockpit and almost everything i havent mentioned above
like the alert that goes when you go to fast, no more simrate for me :D
also the half sunk plane feature not on land though

keep up the good work :D

@Mischka,

Thanks, as I said they were both from sub-models.. I've fixed the dependencies so it should be fine for the next release (even though it shouldn't really affect the flying experience now)... And the systems195.nas error is due to the windshield wiper controls (which aren't completed yet) :D

Yea, I was trying to fix that but if I increase the drag or reduce the engine thrust, the plane's becomes too unstable at low speeds (cuz of drag)...
Just don't use full throttle, you should be able to go to about 0.89 mach... If you go to 40000 ft, that's about 300 knots IAS I think, you shouldn't be able to got to 580 at cruise... Are you talking about near sea level?

There's a RAT MANUAL DEPLOY label in the pedestal. If your IDGs or engines fail, click on the RAT MANUAL DEPLOY to gravity drop it.

So, i've installed the E-jets and tested it. It works fantastic, it's really one of the best aircraft(s) in FG.
One problem anyways - when i reach the altitude i plan to fly at, even i set the speed to 240-250kts, the plane is making ups and downs all the time, increasing the speed, and decreasing it, to stay at this 250kts. It won't stop hopping till i disengage the A/T. Any ideas?

Alright, let's say you want to cruise at FL350 maintaining 0.79 mach. Set the A/T mode to MACH (click on the PUSH IAS-MACH BUTTON on the cockpit panel) and turn the knob to show 0.79 on the PFD. Then Switch on the A/T. Switch vertical mode to altitude and enter 35000. I and many others have tested this and they say it works fine. :D
