Some people have problems with installing this awesome aircraft. Here's the solution :!:

First go to .../flightgear/data/aircraft/airbus_a320neo/models/engines
Here you find a file called 'res' copy that one to .../flightgear/data

That will fix this problem :D - if not hehe than there is a other problem

Some time ago there was a small FDM update for the Airbus A320-family by connect http://www.flightgear.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=15328
I wonder if the info for weight and thrust is also updated to the A320neo-family

It has been, long before I did any work on the A319-131. As the FDMs were worked on seperately. I guess now that I'm focusing on my schooling and J170 and A350 development projects, Jon could fix the FDMs for both families.

Cheers,
Sam.

The 3 FDMs for A319neo, A320neo and A321neo, are completely new. with references to almost all values.

There are some small, corrections to be done in cargo masspoint for 19 and 21.

Also, ground effect drag is to be implemented (lift is already there).

At the moment i'm working on Fly by Wire systems, which will "override" the feeling of the A/C.

It limit's the pitch and rotation speed, so it feels realy different. i have gone through many different approach but, i'm not 100% satisfied.
you can test it downloading Develop Branch https://gitorious.org/airbus-aircraft/a ... ll/Develop

i will ask you and others that if you know some bug like this one, report here as a bug PLEASE.

I thought it was DLH-Airmen's especial problem, because he couldn't even un-compress the file in first place.

I develop and work on Linux, and i don't test it on Windows. If there are more bugs let me know. ;-)

So here is the Fixed Version V2.2 Beta2-b: :P

(delete res/cfmleapx.ac from Flightgear/data, to test fix is propertly done.)

Hi,

I find the PFD of the A320 very hard to read. As I found only one post on the A320-family thread complaining about the same problem but no solution I started myself to solve the problem for me by creating new textures with a little bit more contrast. I think its no great impact on realism but increases readability a lot.

Maybe this is useful for someone else so here are the new/modified textures:

Thanks for the Textures! ;-)

you're right it is much more easy to read now, i have added on the repository:
download at: https://gitorious.org/airbus-aircraft/a ... all/master Remenber to rename folder to "A320neo".

nevertheless i think we could inprobe even more these textures to be perfect... and maintain the color of the "Sky" in the Attitude indicator.

thanks again mate ;-)

A320neo and A320-family are the Aircraft of the month!!! :D

This is a great recognition for the many ours and hard work done here by all developers and contributor, including for those on the A320-family.

Personally, i've been working hard for six months in this Airliner and it makes me too happy, to be designated as Aircraft of the month. Even more been March as it's mi birdday(month) (silly thing, i know but... ;-))

Thanks!

Boeing you're right, i need re-do the sound part. ;-)

i think there is a distance fix that prevent from hearing it.

Other think is that i think it is TO LOUD so i may lower the volume level for engines and so...
what do you think about it?

should i lower volume?

Hello all

ehmm ... just checking somming ...

this Aircraft of the MONTH thingy is NOT an April FOOL joke, I hope!

:)

hahhhhhh gotcha!!! Nice AC though.

I hope the soft winds continue to lift your developing wings.
I hope your nose stays pitched up even in bad METAR conditions.
I hope your nav. instruments continue to improve as do your landings.

Happy April 2012!
