Gijs I sent you the 747-400 with the FDM. did you recieve it yet?
The propeller is just a big fan in front of the plane used to keep the pilot cool. When it stops, you can actually watch the pilot start sweating.

I don't think Julian will send anything to me so I'll try to solve the problems myself. If there's anyone else wo want to help with the FDM, please contact me!

Here's a tiny little update of what I got now. I was on holiday last week, so there's not much I've done on the 747.

Done:
- All exterior stuff is modeled and textured (except from the engines and wings) now.
- NAV-Lighting.
- Thrust reversers are animated.
- Rudder and elevator animations.
- Basic tutorials from entering the plane to takeoff. But to make them work right I first need to have all (needed) switches and screens done.

To do:
- Need more working screens/instruments in cockpit and a lot of switches.
- Rest of animations (ailerons, flaps, gear).
- Animated doors
- Model (part of) the cabin to make nice screenshots from a passenger view.
- Logo- and better landinglights
- Some Nasal stuff to make all swithces work.
- Bending wings like HHS described.
- Making the reversers work really. Not only animation, but also in the FDM.

So far so good:

I just made my first switch in the cockpit work!! I know it's not that much, but it's a great thing for me. Now I have to continue with the more than hundrerd other switches :)
Wing are textured to now. Only flaps and elevators need to be textured before the whole plane is painted.

I stopped for a while.
I had a lot of animations added, but suddenly lost them all
HHS made a FDM for me, so animations are the only things to do (almost).
But I will do that probabli after my holiday (somewhere in august).
