The CRJ700 in the American Eagle livery, with the new landing lights (actual lights will come soon), new reflection shader for the wings, and some extra-shiny shader for the leading edge. :)

Image

The reflection shader will not be applied to the fuselage (no matter how much I want it), because I will apply the lightmap shader instead- and shaders can't be combined. :(

That looks really great Skyop. I like the lights; they look very lifelike. I too wish the reflection could be combined with other shaders :(.

Oops, I just noticed that the two halves don't match up...I didn't have the model to test it on...We will need to raise the left hand side one click

The plane is still under major development. The cockpit just hasn't been developed yet.

At the same time I decided to do a test hop...I've been flying the Twotter for too long...Twotter approaches don't do well with the CRJ-700

Warning, not for the faint at heart

But you know what they say, any landing you can walk away from, is a good landing :P

Yeah, I was way too high and fast...

I'm too used to the Twotter, with it, with 1000ft of flat space you can dive in it with full flaps and grease it :D

He'll release the model when he thinks it's ready. Think about it this way; You're at a nice restaurant, and you've ordered, let's say, the lasagne. Now, would you keep walking into the kitchen every 2 minutes and asking the chef, "Is it ready yet?". No, well, at least I hope not. :/

The same goes for aircraft in FlightGear. You don't ask developers "Is it ready?" "How is the progress?". It's ready whenever it's ready, and that's that. If you don't like that, then I don't know what you should do.

As for silly questions like "Why can't I see any instruments?" - well, that's really clever, isn't it? Think - Skyop has just posted a picture of a *BARE* and *EMPTY* cockpit - and that was all the info he gave in his last update. He has not issued an update saying instruments have been added. If Skyop hasn't said that instruments have been installed, then what do you expect? Instruments to just magically appear?

Please, exercise just a bit of common sense - for the sake of the community.
