For anyone that wants to try starting the AirCrane manually, there is now a step by step tutorial for it. I plan on adding the steps to turn on all the navigation lights as well Although most people should be able to figure that one out on their own..

I pushed a startup tutorial bug fix. I left the tutorial in a broken state yesterday. I also added the exterior lighting configuration to the startup tutorial. Also a model animation fix to the n1 lever start button for turbines 1 and 2.

Although I am not very active in the FG forum, since Flightgear published the website I have followed day by day the evolution of the simulator, although I no longer have a computer capable of running the simulator and having image quality. That's why I can't produce the screen splashes I used to do for Helijah. In this case I have taken the photo of w bragg, and I have taken the liberty of reusing it for a new screen splash.

Remembering that first photo taken 13 years ago at KSFO where I appeared in the foreground, and JohanG in the background. To notice that my helicopter was unruly, hence the inclination, although JohanG did not suffer from that problem with his joystick. I state that I am impressed with the work of FG around evolution in compositor. However I always preferred the vivid daylight scene in PLIB FG 1.91b versus ALS and for a long time I was using that version for splashes. But I couldn't resist to make this with compositor.
I hope you like it. Thanks you so much FG'ers

@Michat

If your still hanging out to read this, I stepped away from the development for a moment and realized I hadn't tried to incorporate your new splash yet.

So after looking a little closer, the splash screen system has changed a bit and I would need a little bit different proportions for that splash screen to make it display correctly. It needs to be 1920x1080 or a fraction thereof. If you could modify the design to fit those dimensions I would be happy to include it.

I just pushed some Ground Services to the AirCrane Git version. It gives you the same Ground Services options as the c182, c172 and Cub/PA-18. That includes adding a working external power source and the logic for starting the PPU with it. A fuel dialog tied to the Ground Services GUI. Engine preheater, etc.

@wlbragg

After several months out of my home I'm back to Madrid.
This is the new splash screen for de Aircrane based on the dimensions you have requested. Also I will maintain de old one because it fits with Helija's web page format.
Thank you for your attention.
Hope you like it.

The HDR-PBR version of the AirCrane is looking better every day. This new rendering pipeline does help to motivate production.
