It is set to explode to be sure that you can no longer control it.

It could be cool to have a variable amount of time to bail.

I am not sure I follow you. Once you pull the handle stuffs going to happen. If you want to bail later, just wait to pull the handle. Or did I misunderstand something?

I guess he means you have some unknown time before it explodes, within that frame you need to eject.

The explosion is tied to the ejection sequence code if I am not mistaken.

The explosion after ejecting, has been removed in latest version.
You can find that version on our github, its not in fgaddon or the launcher yet.

Here is 2 things that we have worked on this week and is coming soon to F-16:
Preview of new livery dialog. Still work in progress and the block 20, which I use in this video, have not had its liveries meta information filled out yet.
Also preview of the HMCS helmet HUD which now no longer jitters, but moves with the view smoothly.
The video ends with some A/A guns only combat just for fun.

Diana Livery .. I'm not sure the RNLAF 323 Squadron J-248 Diana livery would be allowed these days.

As it would help me to fire ground missiles accurately.

ON the radar page, press FCR button. Then the GM button.
Remember to use key i and I to tilt the radar down a little.
