Did a little overhaul of the gear well and gear doors so that the gear has enough place ! :) Also we got some new wheels, and the gear now retracts correctly again.

@Ysop: can you confirm if the gear torque links work with the latest version of my repo ? (commit 72cfe1c) And you need a git next build that has commit 6ca9141083e62be1161d0ca2d1e3b918494dd6ad -which you can confirm by running:
Code: Select all
git show 6ca9141083e62be1161d0ca2d1e3b918494dd6ad -q

in the simgear source folder.

Starting on the main gear actuators now ! :) Will take a while, the 310's gear linkage is known to be one of the most complicated … :|

I added a Cessna 310 Combo instrument (oil temp, oil pressure, fuel pressure) It's located in my branch of the 310 on Github. I didn't do an InkScape file...I can finish an instrument so much faster with a Gimp file.
Sometimes I do stuff.

I'd say, make the flap position gauge next ? We also need a VSI, clock (small size = 5.7 cm), CDI, fuel flow (or pressure ?), RPM, ammeter, and a couple more which I can't think of right now !

Once we got all instruments, and I finish the gear actuators, I'll make the first release, which will replace the 310 model from 2001 by David Megginson in FGAddon trunk ! :D

It might be an idea to get in contact with Stuart and David prior replacing their work. Would be a polite move. And the 2001 version is fun to compare, as FDM is based on another twin.

Also it should have reached a certain level of completeness when landing on FGAddon.
And it is worth including into the newsletter when released.

Thanks, I must have stopped looking at the author list after I saw David Megginson's name (whom I already contacted, and he'd actually like it to get replaced), so I didn't see anyone else ! ;) Will do, and also the old version will be preserved in the attic (a subfolder of the FGAddon repo, for old unused / remade / unuseable aircraft).

Sure, I didn't talk about doing it right now !

Good idea, but please remind me once the day comes, since I might forget it until then !

Hmmm, it's almost like I've lost admin rights over my fork. I've tried uploading the gauge several times and it won't take. (Sigh,) I guess I'll look into it.
