Hello V12
I follow the instructions, the airports are in FG, the result is always the same, not found.

I'm sure the error is mine.
I think there is a tutorial in our forun that guides us step by step to install the CDU and add simbrief. if anyone has it please.

My mistake, it is username/alias. to send a simbrief
only. "A320 is working fine".

Hi Josh,
I found next problem with speed :
- flightplan - VQPR15 direct to DM for STAR DM01A ILS27 approach
- I took off from VQPR
- in climb with managed speed was all OK till I entered speed limit for DM, then A320 immediately set target speed to GDS speed 205 KIAS and started to slow down, but still climbed to cruise level FL300
- I deleted speed limit for DM, then Bus reduced climb rate and accelerated back to cruise speed M0.565 (very low CI 5)
- I reached cruise level FL300 and selected speed M0.82, Bus reached this speed, and after some minutes AP goes to crazy - suddenly turn left. I used selected heading, the plane turn to the heading, then I switched back to managed heading, but did not turned to the flightpath
- I switched to managed speed, Bus correctly decelerated back to M0.565 and George started to do his job properly

I will make the video for better understanding.
EDIT :
Video is here :

Hi V12:
- Re: Managed speed, the current logic I believe is that it holds the restriction until the point. Additional logic is required for the descent phase in order to only decelerate a bit before reaching the waypoint. I'll look into this.
- Re: Lateral deviations, very very strange. I noticed the target waypoint was the 1500 point during this. Something weird happened but I don't have enough info to say what yet. The lateral and speed are decoupled however
- Re: The end of the video, I don't understand why you're setting the speed low, you shouldn't be decelerating that much at that altitude.

Kind Regards,
Josh

What you guys use to calculate the trim for takeoff?
Previously, I used to use the centre of gravity displayed in "fuel and payload" in inches and convert it into percentage. Further, I put that value in a performance calculator which used to give me required takeoff trim.

But now the CG in inches value in fuel and payload is showing a negative value. I am unable to calculate the trim. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Octal450 :
Without slowdown over DM, turning radius is too large and may lead to CFIT. I do not know why A320 wants overfly DM and started turn over DM. For example FSL A320 started turn few miles before DM and did not try to overfly that NDB. On both planes I used same FPL from Simbrief, NDB DM is not marked as OVERFLY.

I don't about this aircraft at all, but 51 inches sounds like a normal CG station - so maybe just try using the absolute value (without the sign) to calculate the trim ?

Octal450 :
Another strange problem with 3D branch - G/S indicator deflection - check this picture, please :

Image

I performed another test flight with attempt for autoland at ZULS. But G/S indicator was in strange positions and guided me too high. Secod part of this video is same approach with FSL A320, G/S indicator is OK. Then I tested 737-800YV and found, that indicator in that plane looks OK and works with very similar deflection as FSL A320. So, this is probably bug in A320family.
And approach video :

yes... but that doesn't prove anything... your two cases could happen exactly like that irl...
