From the NASA report we do not need every graph, but it will take many weeks. So take your time with the visual items.

General question about usage of the data under GPL is clarified.

A bit of a spoiler:
We will not get around manual adaptions for the performance numbers, as the aircraft versions are slightly different and also accuracy in the scans of the graphs is a bit limited. Especially for drag numbers, where lines are close and axis scale not spread.
But we are used to such issues already :-)

Just out of interest, what's going to take so much time ? The conversion itself (i.e. does the program just run hours on a single graph) ?

There are some guys here, who have a full on job....
And sometimes it is nice NOT to look at a screen during the weekend.
Engauge works fine, that was a good hint.

Yes, of course, as I said, no offense intended - take your time, I have enough other things to do, too … just out of interest …

If you pm me the graphs you're after (be really specific) and the data points you're looking for. By that I mean the alpha beta steps, I'm quite disposed to converting a few for you.

Highly appreciated, but as it is quite a good beginner's work, it would be great to have a newbie coming in. Sharing work and also explaining at the same time would be very beneficial.

@chad: I've put your modifications on GitHub - looks good ! Now all that's missing is the torque links ! But take your time, both the FDM and the animations will take some time …

All control surfaces and the propellers are animated ! And I've given it some nice reflections for FG. :)

@chad: For he torque links, there are some sketches in the service manual - I can give you the page numbers, if you want.

@chad: I found this video about the annual landing gear checks on a C310 - it has many detailed views of the gears:

Searching for
- C310 / C310A / U3-A / L-27A flight manual
- Checklists

Maybe someone has those by accident.
