We've never claimed it to be 100% perfect and it certainly has potential for improvements but it is as it is right now. If you don't like it, don't use it... or do something about it and improve it.

So better to link a real A 320 video or FCOM link in the case you did not understand :)

Then why do you post another video? If there are already 2 examples?

You will see 2 examples from real planes

And 3 examples of other sim videos that you take as a reference.
Anyway, just be factual with FCOM or original links if you want to help the developers.

merspieler :
FYI :
First video is Your, but initial link did not work, I added examples from P3D, after that You added YT link on IRL video, then I found another A330 example. Where is problem ?

GinGin :
Do You see difference between real A320/330 and FSL A320 ? But yes, You are right, in the future I will add only links on IRL videos.

Next test flight, A320 surprised me with FAC1 fail some seconds after take off from Kathmandu. I solved problem according to ECAM action FAC1 OFF FAC1 ON, FAC2 OFF FAC2 ON, all was OK. Then I observed error in the terrain visualization on ND :

Image

On ND is almost all green, but hill is thinking some other and waiting for the pilots to blindly trust the ND

GPWS alarm was not triggered, no PULL-UP or TERRAIN warnings.

Again,... that's because of the current implementation of the TERR ON ND...
Either live with it or don't use it.

I don't know who came up with the terrain layer, but if the corresponding people are here on the forum, we could discuss how to improve this until a CanvasView/CompositeViewer based ortho mode becomes available - obviously, it would also be possible to patch up the C++ code directly. We do have existing code for both approaches.

Dunno if that was mentioned before, but fun fact, if you are seating at the design eye position for the pilot (i.e. seat in the forward, CAT III approach, flying position), the red ball in the central windscreen pillar should be hidden behind the white ball. The three balls are an aid to adjust your seat (left and right) to the ideal position both in vertical and longitudinal position so that you have the adequate angle to see runway lighting as early as possible.
Just mentioning, because the cockpit is so detailed that this stands out as a weird oversight.

We are aware of it... we first need to check the cockpit model (this part hasn't been reworked yet) and then we can fix the camera position to match this.

Another small inaccuracy on the ND - all constrains are displayed permanently, but would be displayed only with active CSTR button and :
- magenta, if prediction will be met
- amber if prediction will be missed

source : http://www.a320dp.com/A320_DP/flight-in ... 8.1.4.html

EDIT :
Check http://www.a320dp.com/A320_DP/flight-in ... 8.2.4.html for correct terrain visualization on the ND :

Image
Indicates threatening terrain, with red being the most threatening, followed by yellow then green. Black indicates terrain is 2000 feet below airplane and/or within 400 feet of the runway elevation of the nearest airport. Magenta indicates terrain data is unavailable.

By that description, on the ND You would not see blue as water.
