pjedvaj's GPL aircraft pack

Postby pjedvaj » Sat May 20, 2017 7:45 pm

Hi FlightGear community, I've decided to give you a small gift;

all my paid aircraft previously sold on TurboSquid are now free and under GPL compatible license.

BAE Hawk T1
BAE Hawk T2
BAE Sea Harrier FA2 (some work is done on FGUK)
BAE Sea Harrier FRS1
Embraer EMB 312 Tucano
Embraer EMB 314 Super Tucano
General Atomics MQ-9 Reaper (already released)
Hawker Siddeley Harrier GR1 (new model)
Hawker Siddeley Harrier GR3 (new model)
IAI Kfir C2
IAI Kfir TC10
Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-10
Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21 Bison (some work is done here)
Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21bis (new model)
Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-25PD
Mitsubishi F-2A Viper Zero
Sukhoi Su-34

They are in FBX, OBJ and DAE file formats. Textures are in separate archive, just extract them into same folder.

Here is a download link, it should be active for some time:

REMOVED*

Enjoy!

* Thanks for downloading, please share models among FG developers

I looked at converting the MiG-21bis over, and it looks like it'd be a bit of a project (I'm in the middle of a cockpit overhaul right now), but the model was definitely very high quality. I am impressed.

For the curious, here's the MiG-21bis:

And here's it's "heaviness":

edit:

Here's cockpit detail:

You're welcome. They do look better with dirty diffuse map, specular and normal applied (all found in textures). Sorry, no cockpit details. :(

You have a gallery of renders at https://pjedvaj.artstation.com/

If someone didn't get any of aircrafts while there were available for download please send me a P.M.

I have a 3D model of F-16D Brakeet to share under GPL compatible license if someone is interested for development.
I just don't have the time or will to finish it. It's sliced up for animation. But beware, cockpit and landing gear aren't modelled and it ain't UV mapped.

Just P.M. me on forum. Edit: it's now also available on cgtrader.
