I fly the pa24-250 most of the time, so I'm not sure if this is model related or not, but maybe there is something I can tweak.
The landing lights in release versions of flightgear always produced a soft illuminating cone when on the ground/taxiways/runways.
In the Mac OS X git version (both the release package and the one I built using Tat's source package and instructions) the landing lights
produce a blank, bright, white non-translucent cone on the ground.
- Code: Select all
FlightGear version: 2.0.0
FG_ROOT=/Applications/FlightGear.app/Contents/Resources/data
FG_HOME=/Users/fbhjr/.fgfs
FG_SCENERY=/Applications/FlightGear.app/Contents/Resources/data/Scenery:/Applications/FlightGear.app/Contents/Resources/data/Scenery/Terrain:/Applications/FlightGear.app/Contents/Resources/data/Scenery/Objects:
SimGear version: 2.0.0
PLIB version: 185
OS X 10.6.4
So the problem is the lights are too bright/opaque? In earlier release versions I could see the ground illuminated beneath the lights.
Thanks for any insights.
Cheers,
Fred
