Camaragroup and FoV

I have a question about the use of camera groups.

My setup was 3 monitors for the window viev in a row and 1 extra monitor below the top center monitor for the cockpit controls. I used the cameragroup to make them work. it worked fine because all monitors had the same size
Now i replaced the 3 top monitors with one 49inch ultrawide 32:9 monitor and adjusted the cameragroup for the new monitor.

My problem is now that both monitors seems to requires a different field of view to match and look good (larger fov on top, smaller below).

I found the fovy-deg paramerter in the Readme.multiscreen but as soon as i added

<perspective>
<fovy-deg >100</fovy-deg>
< perspective/>

to the cameragroup starts to look weird and FG is lagging as hell.

Does someone has an idea how to set this correctly?

Windows 10

when you are in-sim, please check F10->View->Rendering options and see if you have "compensate field of view for wider monitors" enabled or not... not sure that will make any difference, though...

also, do you run with VSync enabled or no?
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."
