weird fps drop issue[FG 2020.3.6]

today I was flying an extraea500 from Zurich to Stockholm with rainy weather at first but later on, the game would stutter with a small amount of freezing usually 100ms or less and also occassianly the vertical speed meter would bounce up and down,at first I thought it was a looping weather issue and I switched to a random manual weather from the live data , but the issue persisted ,I also checked from task manager if for some reason the CPU was fully loaded, I turned on the ea500's smooth weather, the issue did not fixed, I thought later it could be a problem with my GPU constantly switching from eco to power mod , and later I added FlightGear to games in Radeon driver , I looked also for some fixes online with no results. i also attempted to disable building pylons and power lines to check if the issue would get fixed but the lagging persisted , I recorded a video dedicating to the issue , I also spotted a weird GPU load on task manager with a since weave showing the freeze-lag time spots, also CPU load was mostly normal without issues (I also tried to get FG to use 2 cores to find any issue relating to poor single-core performance but this seem to help a little)
system specs: PC:
CPU:i5 9400f
GPU: RX570 4gb
ram: 16 gb
os: windows 11 22000.708
I will be later posting the video and image

How was your RAM usage at the time you got the stutters ? If it was almost full (less than a GB space left) this could explain the stutters … in any case, restart FG and see if the issue persists.

also consider upgrading to the latest LTS version... 2020.3.6 is a bit on the elderly side... 2020.3.13 is the latest... it was released 2022 Mar 30 and can be downloaded here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/flightgear/files/release-2020.3/FlightGear-2020.3.13.exe/download
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

I actually didn't notice the ram but I can't replicate the scenario now , due to different weather

you are right I have seen a lot of programs versions before I expected 3.6 to be bigger and newer than 3.13 but you released from 3.8 to 3.11 without knowing

FWIW: AFAIK, all new releases are announced in the same place(s)...
